How
long has CAREINGTON been in business?
|
|
|
|
|
In 1979, two doctors
founded a member network that helped both companies and individuals.
They amassed a fraternity of dentists who agreed to charge considerably
lower fees to their counterpart patient members . . . and it worked
! !
Their
expertise gives CAREINGTON firsthand experience when it comes
to understanding the care and needs of dental patients. Because of this
industry knowledge, CAREINGTON members are offered a dental plans
package that is both comprehensive and current with the latest procedures.
Because
CAREINGTON was among the first to offer quality dental plans
at a discount, we have had years to develop an extensive provider panel,
with over 49,000 participating dentists. In fact our provider panel
is one of the strongest in the country. Not only do we offer an extensive
selection of doctors, but our credentialing system guarantees that our
dentists have only the finest credentials. We also give the healthiest
fee reductions - two to three times larger than most dental plan companies.
With over 5
million satisfied members and growing, CAREINGTON has positioned
itself to be the most innovative dental partner in the country!

What
are the restrictions of the CAREINGTON plan?
|
|
|
The only restrictions of the CAREINGTON dental plan are that
you must go to a CAREINGTON provider on the list. The CAREINGTON
providers are carefully screened, credentialed, and selected in order
to secure that you are given a choice of some of the finest dentists
in your area.
Everone wants good
quality dental care at an affordable price.
CAREINGTON is a great program that can fill that void.

My
dentist isn't currently on the Provider Panel. What can I do?
|
|
|
|
|
Have your dentist call CAREINGTON at 800-290-0523 and ask for
a new provider packet from the Network Development Department. While
we do not guarantee that a provider will join our plan, we have found
that when a potential provider initiates the process then the chances
of success is much greater.
Please be aware
that the credentialing and qualifying period can take time, sometimes
as long as six months, depending on the speed of response from the dentist.

When you are effective to use the plan you will contact a provider on
the provider list and make an appointment.
You will need to
take either your temporary ID card that we e-mail you or your permanent
card which we mail to your home address to the dentist office for your
appointment.
The dentist office
will call CAREINGTON to verify you are in the plan. Because of
this you do not need a card to get services, only either your member
number or your social security number.
You will only pay
the amount according to the schedule of plans, which are outlined by
ADA code (American Dental Association).
